PAC Party Phangan held their 3rd annual charity party Love Is In The Air at Leela Beach, Koh Phangan on 13th Feb 2014.

Raising funds for PhaNgan Animal Care, the island's animal welfare charity, once again the party was masterminded by regular visitor to Koh Phangan, Dr John. 

Amsterdam DJ Dr John was joined on the decks this year by Koh Phangan DJs Kaonashi, Pablo Escobud, Inlighten & Julien, who were all happy to lend their musical support to this good cause.

The first annual charity party at Leela Beach in 2012 raised over 20,000 baht for PAC, and last year an incredible 44,000 baht was raised!  Knowing it would be a tall order to raise more than that in 2013, everyone was delighted when the final figures for 2014 came in: 34,000 baht.

A great effort and resounding support yet again for this worthwhile island charity, which is dear to all our hearts.  We are an island of dog lovers on Koh Phangan, where Love is always in the air.

Dr John played some beautiful chilled house from 5pm, before Kaonashi, looking as hot as ever, took to the decks for a stunning sunset party.  Pablo came on at 8pm with the 'Love Is In The Air' theme in mind, playing Donna Summer remixes as the beach filled up with PAC supporters in party mood.

Beautiful music for a beautiful cause.  The Leela Beach dogs enjoyed all the fun and attention, seeming to know the charity party was for them.  For every 100bt donated, guests received a raffle ticket, with three great prizes on offer:

First prize was a night in the luxury suite at the 4* Coast Resort on Haad Rin Sunset.  Just For Fun offered 4 zipline rides through the Koh Phangan jungle, and Miracle Cafe once again donated a meal for two at their delightful Japanese run restaurant, next to Wat Pho, as runner up prizes.

Dr John returned to the decks after Pablo's set to continue the feel good vibe of the evening, and we were all feeling the love of the charity event. The donation boxes were soon full to brimming.  I Feel Love! 

Julien & Inlighten came on back to back at 11pm to a happy and intimate crowd, to finish the evening's music therapy with love and smiles.  At midnight the raffle was drawn: first prize to Kawee Koh Phangan of Secret Garden.
